Maps providers and usage

Review the configured map provider

Read the active provider and available usage information. Keep provider credentials in the designated secure configuration; never paste them into support chat. When Google is active in Maps and routes, departure and final addresses can use a precise Google match even when Geoapify cannot locate them. Save the route settings before departure and review the recalculated final leg. If Google is unavailable or its protected quota is exhausted and the other provider cannot locate an endpoint, saving or recalculation is blocked and the previous plan is retained; the final destination is never silently omitted. Google-only points are shown on the Google map and hidden when the map switches provider. Select a precisely located alternative or try again when Google becomes available.

Respect usage limits

Check map, address-search and route/optimization limits before large planning sessions. A commercial offer does not automatically activate an extra quota or bypass a provider cap.

Access the new controls

Settings → Usage and quotas displays this restaurant’s Google/Geoapify allowances and usage with settings view/edit permission. Fallback credits and deliveries submitted for optimization are distinct from request counts. Foody adjusts limits without resetting counters. See limits and renewal.

Prepare your own Google project

To prepare your account, billing and address, map and route keys, follow the step-by-step Google guide. Individual onboarding requires confirmation from Foody: this screen has no form for business-owned keys. First contact Foody without secrets to agree the scope and a secure handoff channel.
