Restaurant POS: check ordering, service and payment
When comparing restaurant POS systems, test opening a table, selecting dishes and modifiers, sending to preparation and confirming payment. The procedures explain each step and its conditions; ingredient tracking requires the Kitchen module and configured sales-to-recipe mappings.

A few things you might be wondering
Can waiters take orders on a tablet?
Yes. A waiter can open a table, select dishes and modifiers, and send the order for preparation from a compatible device. Both POS and back office support Hebrew, French and English. Cloud services and connected payments require Internet access. Device model, operating system version, printers and payment provider are checked before installation.
How much is Foody Restaurant and what is included?
Foody Restaurant costs ILS 890 per establishment per month, excluding VAT. It includes two POS licences, cloud, back office, Foody Orders and QR ordering. Each additional POS licence costs ILS 99 per month, excluding VAT. Licences cover devices, not employees. Hardware, setup, training, EMV service and payment processing are separate; see the pricing page for the full terms.
How do orders reach the kitchen?
Staff send orders into the preparation workflow configured for the restaurant. Kitchen ticket printing is a paid add-on, quoted separately after checking equipment and configuration. Foody Kitchen is the separate module for recipes, food cost, stock and preparations; it is included in Foody Restaurant & Kitchen.
Does it work for cafés and quick service?
Yes. Workflows can be adapted for counter service, dine-in, pickup and delivery. Modes and equipment are selected during setup.
Is the website connected to the POS?
Yes. Your Foody website, QR and POS use the same platform. Menus, availability and order workflows follow your restaurant settings.
Can Foody install the system and train my team in Israel?
Yes. Foody visits the restaurant for installation and staff training. Before launch, we check compatible devices, Internet access, printers and the payment provider. Standard setup costs ILS 1490 once; on-site training, if selected, costs ILS 1200 per day. Prices exclude VAT. Hardware and payment services are quoted separately.
