Read paid-order discounts
In the POS sales report, Discounts (paid orders) includes only discounts on paid orders in the period. Gross sales follows the dashboard’s counting rule, which may also include accepted unpaid orders. Do not subtract these cards to derive a net: net sales, refunds and fees remain unavailable here.
Read sales on the POS
With analytics.view, open More → Reports → Sales. On a tablet the left rail keeps the permitted sections available; on a phone open them from Reports. Choose Today, Week, Month, Quarter or Year. Each calendar period starts at its beginning and ends today; the week starts on Monday. The reference day comes from the restaurant, not the phone clock. The report uses the current restaurant, order creation dates and the dashboard’s configured counted-order rule. Amounts alone therefore do not prove bank collection. Refresh reloads the period without recording a payment.
Review gross sales, sale count, average sale, discounts, the chart and recorded payment methods. Expand an item for its actual variants or a category for its items. Items and categories use paid lines with combo attribution; delivery and discounts can explain differences from order totals. A dash for net sales, refunds or fees means that metric is not supplied for the period, not that it is zero. Refresh a failed load rather than treating it as a day without sales. This report closes neither physical cash nor a Verifone card batch.
Start from Home
Open Home in FoodyAdmin. The dashboard shows the selected period or service, the orders requiring attention, gross sales, order count, average order value, items sold and recent orders. What you can open depends on your permissions.
Check the date basis
The date control can use order dates or a scheduled service/series. A future service can include orders already placed for that service: those figures do not mean that service has been completed. Check the date basis before comparing figures with another report.
The orders counted control indicates the revenue calculation, such as paid orders or accepted orders. Accepted-order sales are not proof that all payments were collected. Review payment attention separately.
In Admin, This week covers all seven calendar days, from the restaurant’s configured first weekday through the last, including future days. Last 7 days ends today. Check the date basis and other filters if an order is missing.
Comparisons and unavailable data
Comparisons depend on an available previous period or service. For a future or ongoing service, the dashboard explains why a comparison is not shown. Unavailable data and an empty period are different; use Refresh or resolve the reported load error before interpreting missing figures as zero.
Detailed reports
Open Reports for the reporting pages your role permits. Select the date range and review the applied filters. The overview provides an export action; export the selected scope and check that its dates and calculation match your intended analysis.
Open the current weekly batch automatically
For a restaurant configured for weekly batches, open Home or Orders using the Série date basis. The current batch is selected by default even without orders; its totals then stay at zero. It advances after the previous batch’s final fulfillment day in the restaurant timezone, without waiting for the first order or for ordering to open. An open page follows this change on the next automatic refresh (about one minute) or when you return to the tab.
You can select an older service in the calendar; that selection stays in place while the page is open. An order for a later week does not replace the current batch as the default. A payment-attention link keeps its explicit period. If the date looks incorrect, check the configured fulfillment days and restaurant timezone, then reload. Rollover does not create an order or publish a menu.
