Manage product photos
Items & menus → Item library → open or create an item, then use Add photo.
Availability and access
Select the correct restaurant. Adding or changing photos requires menu editing permission.
Add several photos
In the item editor, choose Add photo and select one or several JPEG, PNG, GIF or WebP files. An item can have up to 10 photos, at most 5 MB each. Thumbnails show their order. On an existing item, uploading files prepares them in the editor; click Save to apply the gallery. On a new item, files upload when you save. Selecting files alone does not save the gallery. A selection exceeding the limit or containing an unsupported file is rejected before uploading.
Choose the cover or remove a photo
The first photo is marked Primary and remains the cover in product lists and the POS. Open another thumbnail and choose Use as primary photo to move it first. Use Remove image on a thumbnail or its preview to remove it from the product. Removing the first photo promotes the next one. Save applies the changes; Cancel and discard leaves the saved gallery intact. The explicit AI image confirmation still saves the generated cover immediately; additional saved photos remain.
Browse the gallery on the customer website
Open the product details on the customer website. With several photos, dots below the image show how many are available and which one is selected. Tap a dot or an arrow, swipe horizontally, or focus the gallery and use the arrow keys. Navigation follows the page direction in Hebrew. Reopening a product starts on its cover. A single photo has no gallery controls. The gallery changes neither availability nor the required item choices. Products still need a published web-enabled menu group to appear.
Recover from a failed upload or save
If an existing item upload fails partway, successfully uploaded photos stay in the editor. Select only the failed files again, then Save. If saving a new item fails during uploads, keep the editor open and retry Save: completed uploads and the created item are reused. If saving the item fails, the form and gallery remain available to retry. Leaving or reloading before Save can lose pending photo selections; local text draft recovery does not restore selected image files. Check the saved item after an interrupted connection before creating another one.
