Where to Manage Your Menu

Menu editing is done in FoodyAdmin (the web dashboard). FoodyPOS displays the menu for ordering but cannot edit it.

Creating a Category

Categories organize your menu for customers (e.g., "Starters", "Mains", "Drinks").

  1. In FoodyAdmin, go to Menu → Categories.
  2. Click Add Category.
  3. Enter the category name (shown to customers).
  4. Optionally add a description.
  5. Set the display order: lower numbers appear first.
  6. Click Save.

To hide a category temporarily (e.g., seasonal menu): edit the category and toggle Visible off.

To reorder categories: drag them in the list.

Adding a Menu Item

  1. Go to Menu → Items → click New Item.
  2. Fill in:
    • Name: required
    • Category: which section it belongs to
    • Price: in ₪
  3. Optionally add:
    • Description: a short text shown to customers
    • Photo: JPG or PNG, max 5 MB
  4. Click Save.

Hiding an Item

Toggle Available to off to hide the item without deleting it. Useful when an ingredient runs out mid-service.

Modifiers let customers customize items. See Setting Up Modifiers for a full guide.

Combos

A combo is a bundle of items sold together at a fixed price (e.g., "Burger + Fries + Drink , ₪65").

  1. Go to Menu → Combos → click New Combo.
  2. Add the items that make up the combo.
  3. Set the combo price.
  4. Save.

Combos appear on FoodyPOS and the QR ordering page just like regular items.

Weekly Menu Rotation

If your menu changes by day of week, use Menu → Rotation to schedule which items are available on which days. Items outside their rotation window are automatically hidden.
