Configure the customer ordering assistant

Open Settings → AI assistant. This is the restaurant’s customer ordering assistant, separate from the Foody help assistant.

Enable and choose a trigger

Review enablement, trigger and delay. Choose whether upselling and automatic cart proposals are allowed, then save and verify the saved state. These options do not bypass catalog availability, required choices, ordering rules or payment verification.

Maintain guidance and FAQ

Write factual guidance, aliases, pairings and FAQ using current restaurant information. Avoid secrets and personal customer data. Test ambiguous requests in each supported language. Use reset/discard to abandon unsaved edits; a failed save does not confirm the new configuration.
