Managing Orders

What Is It?

The Orders screen is one live list of every order — whether it came from the guest web app, a QR table, or the POS. From here you track status, accept orders, and send them to the kitchen.

How It Works (Simply)

  • New orders appear in real time (a Live badge shows the connection is active).
  • Use the status tabs to filter — new, in kitchen, ready, completed.
  • Open an order to see its items, customer, and totals, and to move it along.

Order flow

  1. Placed — a paid web/QR order, or a POS order, arrives.
  2. Accepted — you accept it (or it auto-accepts, depending on your workflow settings).
  3. In kitchen — sent to preparation; a kitchen ticket can print automatically.
  4. Ready / Completed — handed to the customer.

Tip: workflow behavior (auto-accept, auto-send-to-kitchen, auto-print) is configured in Settings. See Workflow settings.

Good to know

  • Orders only appear once paid (for prepaid channels), so the kitchen never sees an unconfirmed order.
  • If a dish sold out while the customer was ordering, checkout blocks it — see Availability.
